Who we are
J&M Multi Trades Ltd is responsible for deciding how personal information is used. You can contact us at michael@jandmmultitrades.co.uk, janine@jandmmultitrades.co.uk, 07950 213357 or 23 Broomhouse Drive, Uddingston, Glasgow, G71 7SW.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, contact details, property and service address, enquiry details, quotation, job and appointment history, invoices, payments, communications, complaints and information needed to deliver safe property services. HomeCare applications may also include membership, property and boiler details.
Why we use it
We use information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, schedule and deliver work, administer HomeCare, communicate with you, collect and reconcile payments, keep accounting and legal records, handle complaints, protect customers and staff, and improve our service.
Anonymous website analytics
We count page views, browsing sessions and clicks to understand which parts of our website and HomeCare service are most useful. This reporting does not collect your name, email address, IP address or banking information. A temporary anonymous session reference is kept in your browser for the current browsing session and is not used for advertising.
Who we share it with
Information may be shared where necessary with appropriate J&M staff and tradespeople, payment processors such as Stripe, IT and hosting suppliers, accountants, professional advisers, insurers, regulators and authorities. We only share what is necessary for the purpose.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed to provide services and meet legal, tax, accounting, insurance and dispute requirements. Retention depends on the type of record and the reason it is held.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, delete or restrict information, object to certain processing, receive certain information in a portable format, and withdraw consent where consent is used.
Marketing and complaints
Service messages are separate from marketing. You may opt out of marketing at any time. Please contact J&M first with privacy concerns; you may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
